Andrew Wiggins is uncertain to play for the Golden State Warriors in a crucial regular season clash against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The forward is listed as "questionable" on the team's injury report as he deals with right adductor tightness, which has sidelined him for the last two games.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided an update on Wiggins' status ahead of the matchup. Kerr revealed that Wiggins participated in the team’s practice on Saturday but remains doubtful for Sunday’s game.

Wiggins last appeared in the Warriors’ 107-90 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 6. In that game, the one-time All-Star played just 19 minutes, contributing 11 points, two rebounds and one steal while shooting 3 of 8 from the field, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc.

The former No. 1 pick has battled nagging injuries this season but has still managed to feature in 20 of the Warriors’ 24 games. Wiggins has displayed notable improvement from last season, providing consistent performances that have been key to the team’s success. His increased production has been a direct boost for the Warriors.

Currently, the Warriors sit fifth in the Western Conference standings with a 14-10 record. Andrew Wiggins, meanwhile, is averaging 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 46.0% from the field, including an impressive 42.7% from 3-point range.
