The nagging ankle injury has apparently been bothering Wiggins for some time, but he has played through the pain. Following the Warriors' win over the Rockets on Thursday, Wiggins confirmed in his postgame press conference that he hurt the ankle in a game against the OKC Thunder on Nov. 27. He has played in four of the team's five games since then.
Andrew Wiggins has been a key figure for Kerr over the early stage of the season. The 6-foot-7 forward has started all 20 games he has played this season and is averaging 28.6 minutes per game. He has missed just three games so far over the 2024-25 campaign.
When healthy, Wiggins has been productive on the offensive front. He ranks second in the Warriors roster in points per game (17.2), behind only Steph Curry. He is also averaging 4.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
