Is Angel Reese, NBA YoungBoy’s girlfriend? Debunking rumors of relation between two 

There's been rumors that NBA Youngboy has a new girlfriend and that she plays for Louisiana State University. However, as the rumors started to spread, Angel Reese, the LSU athlete who was linked to the rapper, quickly denied that the two are dating.

According to an article written by the-sun.com in June 2022, NBA Youngboy dated Yaya Mayweather, the daughter of boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather. The article stated that the two have been dating since 2019. But recent developments have confirmed that the rapper has moved on from her. NBA Youngboy is now married to Jazlyn Mychelle Hayes.

Yaya pleaded guilty last year to a stabbing case that happened back in 2020.

For Reese, it doesn't seem like she is dating anyone at the moment. Based on her social media activities, Angel is more focused on her LSU career.

Rumors about the NBA Youngboy and Reese dating started after they were both on an Instagram live. From there, the speculations started and Angel had to clarify things on Twitter.

How did NBA Youngboy become famous?

NBA Youngboy started out as an underground rapper who was consistent in releasing his mixtapes. He first started producing as early as 2015, when he bought a microphone from Walmart. His first mixtape was called "Life Before Fame."

He followed it up with more mixtapes, which included Mind of a Menace, Mind of a Menace 2, and Before I Go. In 2015-2017, Youngboy consistently released mixtapes by himself. He released a song called "41" in 2017 which featured more recognizable artists like Meek Mill, Young Thung and 21 Savage.

At the start of 2018, Youngboy released the single "Outside Today," which became his highest charting song. The single reached number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Shortly after that, he signed with Atlantic Records and released his studio album, "Until Death Call My Name" during the same year.

Since then, he has consistently released songs, mixtapes and albums. Since the year he started producing, the rapper has released over 26 studio albums, EPs and mixtapes.

Youngboy's music has also been nominated at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and the Grammys. His song "I Am who They Say I Am" with Kevin Gates and Quando Rondo was nominated back in 2019 for Best Impact Track. In 2022, he was nominated twice for Best Duo/Group with Birdman and DaBaby.
