With Game 3 on tap for Saturday night, many fans have been wondering, 'Is Anthony Davis playing tonight?'
Fortunately for Lakers fans, Davis is expected to play, according to NBA.com's official injury report, which is updated every hour based on team submissions. The Lakers will need AD to be at his best if they are to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the Western Conference.
Despite some strong efforts this postseason, Davis has been plagued by foot problems. It's something the dominant big man has had to deal with all season. Back in December, he spoke about the injury, explaining that a bone spur fractured off a bone in his foot.
Back in March, it was revealed to ESPN by sources that in spite of Davis sitting out 20 games, the injury didn't show significant signs of healing. As a result, he was ruled out for back-to-back games in order to prevent the injury from getting worse.

Anthony Davis continues to perform despite questions of, 'Is Anthony Davis playing tonight?'
The question of 'Is Anthony Davis playing tonight?' has continued to surface as the Lakers fight for a shot at the NBA Finals. Fortunately for the team, and for LA Lakers fans, AD has shown that he can fight through the injury.
The last time Davis missed a game was on March 15th, when the Lakers played against the Houston Rockets on the second night of a back-to-back. Since then, Davis has continued to suit up, even if it means that he's playing through pain and unable to compete at 100%.

In Game 2, Davis' play earned him a bit of criticism as he scored just 18 points as he went just 4-15 from the field, and 1-3 from beyond the arc. Prior to that, however, Davis went off in Game 1, scoring 40 points in 41 minutes, earning praise from fans despite the fact that the Lakers lost.
In addition to the question of, 'Is Anthony Davis playing tonight?' many have also wondered if LeBron James will be playing tonight given his own foot injury. Although James has struggled as of late, putting up dismal numbers from beyond the arc, he too is listed as probable.
When Game 3 tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET, fans will be eagerly watching to see how Davis performs.
