Lakers star Anthony Davis is listed as probable. This is an upgrade from his previous doubt and day-to-day status. Barring any setback, Davis could be in the lineup for Los Angeles as they take on the Phoenix Suns in downtown LA on Wednesday.
The Lakers have lost their last six games against the Suns over a two-year span.
The forward was listed as probable before Sunday’s game against the Magic and Davis played 34 minutes. He scored 15 points on 6 of 15 shooting and added 11 rebounds.

Davis has been dealing with a foot injury but has powered through it and only missed one game in March; last Wednesday against the Rockets. Los Angeles lost to Houston in that game 114-110.
The Lakers will catch a break though as the Suns will be without Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton.
Los Angeles will need to finish the season strong with ten games remaining. They currently sit 11th in the Western Conference standings, half a game out of the final play-in tournament spot.
Anthony Davis Impact on Lakers
Davis is averaging 26.0 points and 12.3 rebounds per game in the month of March. He has scored in double figures in seven of eight games this month.
The former Pelican is shouldering much more of the load since LeBron James suffered an injury in late February. Davis has been the leading scorer for the Lakers in six of the eleven games without James.
The Lakers are 12-14 without Davis in the lineup this season.
Davis should be poised for a big game against the Suns without Ayton defending the paint on Wednesday. He will need to play more aggressively. In his past two games, Davis has only shot 17 free throws combined. He will need to get more touches in and around the paint where he can dominate to get more trips to the charity stripe.
He should be ready to go after a two-day rest.
