Bradley Beal has already missed two games for the Phoenix Suns this season due to an elbow injury. Beal is playing well for the 6-1 Suns, averaging 17.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game. But will he play tonight against the Miami Heat?

According to the latest NBA injury report, Beal is listed as probable ahead of tonight's game and is expected to play. He's still dealing with a sprained right elbow, but the team's medical team will likely clear him before the 9 p.m. EST tipoff.

Other players on the Suns' injury report are Jalen Bridges, Collin Gillespie and TyTy Washington Jr. All three players are out and won't play versus the visiting Heat team. They are all on assignment in Phoenix's NBA G League affiliate team, the Valley Suns.

Bradley Beal wants to play through injuries

In his first season with the Phoenix Suns, Bradley Beal was limited to just 53 games due to injuries. Beal dealt with back issues to start the season and barely found his footing when he sprained his ankle in December. He averaged just 18.2 points per game, his lowest output since the 2015-16 NBA season.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Wednesday's game, Beal was asked about his injury that caused him to miss two games this season. He wants to play through it and help the Suns win as many games as possible.

"A lot of people that know me know that I'm going to compete and play through anything," Beal said, according to AZ Central. "If it ain't broke, I'm gonna try to get out there and play through it."

Beal has only played a full season twice in his career and had some injury issues in his early years with the Washington Wizards. He has only played at least 60 games once in his last five seasons in the league.

Bradley Beal's stats vs. Miami Heat

Bradley Beal has a record of 16-19 against the Miami Heat in his NBA career. Beal faced the Heat many times when he was still a member of the Washington Wizards. He has never clashed with them as a member of the Phoenix Suns.

Beal's scoring high versus Miami was a 38-point effort on Jan. 22, 2020, at Kaseya Center. However, his efforts didn't result in a win as the Wizards narrowly lost the game 134-129. Davis Bertans added 24 points for the Wizards, while Goran Dragic and Tyler Herro combined for 47 points off the bench for the Heat.
