Beal dealt with back issues to start the season and barely found his footing when he sprained his ankle in December. He averaged just 18.2 points per game, his lowest output since the 2015-16 NBA season.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Wednesday's game, Beal was asked about his injury that caused him to miss two games this season. He wants to play through it and help the Suns win as many games as possible.

"A lot of people that know me know that I'm going to compete and play through anything," Beal said, according to AZ Central. "If it ain't broke, I'm gonna try to get out there and play through it."

Beal has only played a full season twice in his career and had some injury issues in his early years with the Washington Wizards. He has only played at least 60 games once in his last five seasons in the league.
