Draymond Green will miss the Golden State Warriors’ matchup against the defending champion Boston Celtics on Monday due to a left calf strain. While an official update on Green’s injury is expected on Monday, the four-time champion is anticipated to be sidelined for some time.
Meanwhile, superstar Steph Curry is listed as "questionable" for the game as he nurses a left ankle sprain. Both Green and Curry sustained their injuries during Saturday’s game against the Washington Wizards.
"Draymond Green is out against the Celtics tomorrow. Left calf strain," Warriors insider Anthony Slater tweeted. "No official update expected from Warriors until tomorrow, but he’s gonna miss some time. Steph Curry is questionable. Left ankle sprain. He indicated last night he planned to play."

Draymond Green appeared to be in significant pain after sustaining his injury during the first quarter of Golden State’s 122-114 victory over the Wizards. He exited the game immediately and headed to the locker room, later returning to the bench dressed in "street clothes.
After the game, coach Steve Kerr addressed Green’s injury, stating that its severity would only be determined once the MRI results are available.
"Draymond is going to get an MRI tomorrow," Kerr said. "We don’t really know (on further details). We’ll have to wait and see what the MRI shows tomorrow and just assess over the next couple of days. We’ll figure out what’s next."
