Draymond Green is expected to return for the Golden State Warriors in their matchup against the Washington Wizards on Saturday. Green is listed as "probable" on the injury report after battling an illness over the past few days, which caused him to miss the team’s last three games.
Before the Warriors’ 116-115 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, coach Steve Kerr addressed Green’s status, though his update left room for uncertainty.
"More illness today. He (Draymond Green) woke up not feeling well at all and came to shootaround and looked like a ghost," Kerr said.

In Green’s absence over the last three games, Steph Curry and the Warriors managed a 1-2 record, including a disappointing loss to the struggling Toronto Raptors, one of the league’s worst teams this season.
The former Defensive Player of the Year has missed seven games overall this season, appearing in 33 of the team’s 40 games. Green is averaging 8.7 points per game on 41.7% shooting from the field, including an impressive 36.2% from beyond the arc. He also contributes 6.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, underlining his all-around impact.
In his last game before being sidelined, Green played a crucial role in the Warriors’ hard-fought 107-104 victory over the gritty Detroit Pistons. He posted a well-rounded stat line of seven points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks.
Meanwhile, the Warriors are struggling to find consistency, currently sitting in 11th place in the Western Conference standings with a 20-20 record.
