Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight against the Brooklyn Nets? | February 28th, 2023 | 2022-23 NBA Season

Phoenix Suns v Milwaukee Bucks
Phoenix Suns vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a series of injuries that began a couple of weeks ago when he sprained his right wrist. He played nine minutes on Feb. 16 when the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Chicago Bulls. The injury forced Antetokounmpo to sit out the majority of the All-Star Game on Feb. 19.

After the All-Star break concluded, Antetokounmpo's wrist was ready to go against the Miami Heat on Saturday night. However, he suffered another injury, this time to his right knee. Antetokounmpo only played six minutes.

The following day, Giannis Antetokounmpo's knee injury was relabeled a quadricep bruise. He was then listed as out for their game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

Apparently, sitting out Monday's game did the trick, as Antetokounmpo is expected to play against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. He is listed as probable.

Can Giannis Antetokounmpo bring home another title for the Milwaukee Bucks?

2023 NBA All-Star Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having another MVP-caliber season, and the Milwaukee Bucks (43-17) are enjoying every moment. Antetokounmpo has carried the Bucks to the top of the East as their 14-game winning streak has helped them overtake the Boston Celtics (44-18).

Antetokounmpo has been fantastic all season, averaging an impressive double-double with 31.2 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.

Forward Khris Middleton has missed 41 games but has been playing regularly since Jan. 23.

However, Antetokounmpo has had help from Jrue Holiday, who's been tremendous this season. Holiday is averaging 19.8 points, 7.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. His figures helped him earn a spot in this year's All-Star game, an event Holiday hadn't been invited to in nine years.

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks seem to be in a good place heading towards the playoffs. If the Bucks manage to dethrone the Celtics come playoff time, it's possible that Giannis Antetokounmpo could win another title.
