Miami Heat v Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers have turned their fortunes around after their loss to the Dallas Mavericks. They are now on a two-game winning streak and will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves next.

Embiid has been playing at an MVP level this season and is set to play tonight. He's played the last three games without any issues and is fresh off a 42-point display against the Indiana Pacers.

Embiid is averaging an impressive 33.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, while shooting efficiently from the field, three-point line, and free-throw line. Additionally, he has been a dominant force on the defensive end, averaging 1.5 blocks per game.

With Karl Anthony-Townes also out for the Timberwolves, the 76ers will be favored to win this matchup.

The Philadelphia 76ers have not yet released their injury list, but Embiid has not suffered an injury and is currently on a tear. There is no reason why he won’t be a big part of the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Joel Embiid and Philadelphia 76ers are expected to cruise to victory against the Timberwolves

Despite Embiid's dominance, both teams have some injury concerns. P.J. Tucker and Tobias Harris are questionable for the 76ers, while Karl-Anthony Towns and Jaylen Nowell are out for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Austin Rivers is listed as questionable for Minnesota.

With Joel Embiid looking fitter than ever, and James Harden delivering decent numbers, the 76ers are easily the stronger team on paper. They lost against the Dallas Mavericks, but have since produced two impressive victories.

The first came against Eastern Conference rivals the Milwaukee Bucks. Harden finished with 38 points on the night, while Embiid had 31 points and 10 assists. There's little doubt that the 76ers are title contenders this season.

The 76ers have more than enough firepower to win against any team this season. However, Philadelphia have been guilty of not playing to their potential in recent seasons. Both James Harden and Joel Embiid have had issues with their postseason form. However, they have complemented each other well and are both in rampaging form for the time being.

The 76ers could be a real team to watch out for in the postseason.
