LeBron James will return to Cleveland on Wednesday night as the Lakers continue their road trip against the Cavaliers. Despite saying he was ill since Friday after LA's 109-105 loss to Phoenix on Monday, James is not on the Lakers' injury report. He is available to play against his former team.

The Lakers star is coming off one of his worst outings ever after managing only 11 points on 3 of 14 shooting against the Suns. He will look to bounce back against the unbeaten Cavs and lead LA back to winning ways.

It's also another possible milestone night for James. He could play with his son, Bronny James, against their hometown franchise in front of their friends and family from Cleveland.

LeBron James Stats vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

James has averaged 28.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.3 assists against the Cavaliers in 22 games. He's shot 53.9%, including 31.8% from 3. James holds a 19-3 record against his former employers. He tallied 24 points, five rebounds and 12 assists when the Lakers last met the Cavaliers on Apr. 6, 2024, in a 116-07 home win.

James and the Lakers were on the winning side in the away matchup last season, too. He bagged 22 points, six rebounds and six assists in a 121-115 win on Nov. 25.

James has held a stellar record against the Cavaliers, and he will hope to continue that momentum after Monday's disappointing showing.

Barring a 32-point effort against the Kings, James hasn't had an impactful outing across four games this season. After suffering the first loss of the year, it could be the perfect opportunity for him to remind everyone of his prowess.
