As the LA Lakers host the Denver Nuggets at the Crypto.com arena on Friday night, will LeBron James play? It looks like the Lakers will have their All-Star forward as he is listed as probable.
This is good news for the Lakers (11-16) as they will need James to help recover from their recent struggles. The team is 1-4 over its last five games.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets (17-10) have won three straight games. In their most recent win, reigning MVP Nikola Jokic scored 43 points to go with 14 rebounds and eight assists in a 141-128 victory over the Washington Wizards.
A win on Friday night would give the Lakers a boost as they try to climb back up the Western Conference standings. Los Angeles is 12th, two games out of 10th place.
LeBron James is providing 26.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
The Nuggets will be without fourth-year forward Michael Porter Jr., so James may not be as taxed on the defensive end of the floor on Friday night.
The Lakers will need a strong early offensive output from James and the rest of the team to motivate the home crowd.
