Earlier this postseason, Mike Conley was forced to miss some time due to injury. As the Minnesota Timberwolves attempt to keep their season alive, the longtime point guard is still listed on the injury report.
Heading into Game 5, it looks like Conley is going to be a game-time decision. The one-time All-Star is listed as questionable due to a right soleus strain. This same injury caused him to miss one game in the Western Conference semifinals against the Denver Nuggets.
Looking at his track record, it's safe to assume Mike Conley will be in the lineup for Game 5. He's been dealing with this injury for nearly two weeks now and has only been sidelined once.
As an experienced vet, Conley understands the magnitude of every game going forward. After losing 3-0 to the Dallas Mavericks, the Timberwolves have no room for error. One more loss means the end of what has been an impressive season for them.

Conley is the table-setter for Minnesota on the offensive end, and can still provide a boost on defense. As one of the key pieces to their lineup, the Timberwolves staff is sure to do everything they can to make sure he can suit up on Thursday night.
How has Mike Conley performed in the Western Conference finals?
For the first time since his tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies, Mike Conley finds himself in the Western Conference finals. While he got off to a bit of a slow start, the Timberwolves veteran has been a key contributor in this series.
Conley struggled in Game 1, scoring just six points on 2-for-7 shooting. Since then, he's found ways to provide some kind of scoring punch alongside Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns.
When their season was on the line in Game 4, Conley put together one of his best all-around performances this postseason. He played 34 minutes and finished with a stat line of 14 points, three rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
Conley's best outing in terms of highest scoring output came in Game 2. He notched 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field, including going 2-for-5 from beyond the arc. Through the first four games of the conference finals, Mike Conley is averaging 13.5 points and 4.8 rebounds on 48/36/54 shooting splits.
As one of the team's key veteran leaders, the Timberwolves are going to be relying on Conley in a big way in Game 5. If he can put together another performance like he did in Game 4, Minnesota might be able to extend this series again.
