Paul George's latest injury came at the wrong time for the Philadelphia 76ers, who cannot seem to catch a break. He missed Tuesday night's home game against the OKC Thunder with a right ankle sprain, and with his recent injury record, his chances of taking to the court against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Jan. 15, are slim.
The Sixers forward had been dealing with a left groin tightness, making him miss Friday's game against the Washington Wizards. He returned to practice the following day and was listed by the Sixers as probable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
He eventually made it to the court that night in the 104-99 away loss. He contributed with 25 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
