The Team USA men's national basketball team has a stacked roster with the likes of Steph Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant. With the talent at their disposal, they are favored to win the gold medal this year and their first chance to establish dominance is their Group Stage matchup against Serbia.
Currently, the Golden State Warriors superstar has not been listed on any injury reports. There have also been no reports of him being hurt or sustaining any ailments in the exhibition games leading up to the Olympics. As such, expect him to be available in Team USA's first game against Serbia.
In fact, he looks locked in and ready to go based on the video clip posted by the Golden State Warriors official account on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Although he already has two gold medals to his name through the FIBA World Cup (2010, 2014), Steph Curry hasn't played at the Olympics before.
In 2012, when Team USA assembled the Redeem Team for the London Olympics, Steph Curry wasn't selected. He had only played 26 games in the 2011–12 season and was nowhere near his prime.
Then, in 2016, injury concerns led to his withdrawal from participating in the Olympics. At the Tokyo Olympics, which were held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Steph did not play in the Olympics again.
In an article written by Marcus Thompson II for The Athletic back in 2021, Steph was quoted saying that playing in the Olympics that year "just wasn't right" for him.
This year, he will finally get a shot at winning an Olympic Gold medal and he is starting things off right as he is healthy and will suit up against Serbia.
Steph Curry dominated against Serbia in their tune-up game
Team USA and Serbia prepared for the 2024 Paris Olympics by playing several tune-up games aside from their team practices. These two teams played each other in an exhibition matchup in Abu Dhabi on Jul. 17.
Team USA looked dominant as they routed Nikola Jokic and the Serbians for a massive 26-point win. This would end up being the Americans' biggest margin of victory in all of the exhibition games they played in the lead-up to the Olympics.
The biggest proponent of that win was the performance of Steph Curry. Fans saw Steph making 3s in the same fashion he does when he is cooking NBA defenses.
At the end of the night, he had made six of the nine threes he'd attempted and had registered a game-high 24 points.
