Steph Curry's availability for the Golden State Warriors' matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday was uncertain on the eve of the game. The superstar point guard, who was earlier listed as "questionable" on the team's injury report due to a right thumb sprain, was upgraded to "available" before tip off.

Curry last played in the Warriors' 113-95 blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, where he struggled to make an impact. The four-time NBA champion scored just 11 points, along with two rebounds and three assists, while shooting a lackluster 4 of 14 from the field, including 3 of 11 from beyond the arc.

The defeat dropped the Warriors to a 16-16 record on the season, placing them in 10th spot in the Western Conference standings. This marks a significant decline for Steve Kerr's squad, which briefly held the top position in the standings earlier this season.

Following the loss, Steph Curry did not hold back in expressing his frustration, candidly addressing the team's current level of performance.

"As the kids say, 'We're very mid right now.' We're just very average," Curry said. "I think we understand that better days can be ahead.
"We're not that big of a hold in the Western conference ... you can make up a lot of ground pretty quickly. It's a tough task."

Curry has struggled to reach his usual elite form this season. The two-time league MVP has recorded six games with fewer than 14 points and is currently averaging 22.0 points per game.
