Some stars like to rest before the postseason, but that isn't the case for Steph Curry. Per the latest injury report, the two-time MVP is not listed for their upcoming matchup against the OKC Thunder.
Steph Curry has battled the injury bug all season, but looks to be getting healthy at just the right time. After being sidelined for extended periods twice this year, he has now played in 15-straight games. In the Warriors' most recent game against the Denver Nuggets, Curry went for 21 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
When Curry is on the court, he is still one of the top players in the NBA. Across the 53 games he's played in this season, he is averaging 29.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.
The last time the Golden State Warriors and OKC Thunder squared off, Curry had himself a huge night. He ended the game with 40 points, six rebounds and seven assists. However, it was the Thunder that walked away with the win.

The Golden State Warriors need Steph Curry in the lineup down the stretch
Typically, teams like to rest their core players in the final games for the regular season. That being said, the Golden State Warriors aren't in a position to rest Steph Curry or the rest of the rotation.
Over the past month, the Western Conference standings have been air tight. Even in these final games, some teams have a chance to climb up the standings. With so many teams right on their heels, the Warriors need to do everything they can to hold their spot.
Heading into their matchup against the OKC Thunder, the Warriors sit in sixth place in the Western Conference. This means they will not have to compete in the play-in tournament. However, the LA Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves are all within two games of them. Slipping up in this final week could completely alter their playoff journey.
With the team being a bit older now, Golden State should be aiming to avoid the play-in tournament at all costs. If they want any shot at defending their title, they can't be wasting their energy before the real action begins.
Another reason why the Warriors should want to keep their spot is matchups. If the playoffs started today, they'd face the Sacramento Kings in the first round. Since they're an inexperienced squad, it gives them the best chance of pulling off an upset.
