Zach LaVine is expected to suit up for the Chicago Bulls when they take on the New York Knicks in the first of their two-day road trip starting Wednesday. The Bulls head to Madison Square Garden looking for some much-needed momentum against a wobbly Knicks outfit. Chicago went down 119-113 despite the 2x NBA All-Star's 26-point outing.
LaVine is listed as probable in the latest NBA injury report. The wing has been dealing with an adductor strain but is expected to play considering he was on the list for the same ahead of the Cavaliers skirmish as well. He has missed just one of the Windy City's 11 games so far, and that comes as good news for the new-look side that greatly benefits from the explosive F/G's scoring prowess.

Zach LaVine reveals his gameplan against Karl-Anthony Towns
LaVine outlined his plans ahead of the marquee matchup against the new-look Knicks and their offseason blockbuster acquisition Karl-Anthony Towns. Per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports News:
"He gives them a lot of offense. Hopefully I can talk a little trash to him, throw him off his game. Say some old words to him, see if it makes him miss a couple 3s."
LaVine and Towns spent two years together when the former was part of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is currently in his eighth season with Chicago after spending the first three years with the T-Wolves. He has been a mainstay for the Chicago Bulls since.
From a career perspective, most analysts believe that Zach LaVine will find a new home by the end of the season as his consistent performances coupled with good health see him as a solid fut for contenders looking to supercharge their offense. Earlier, reports emerged that the Bulls were looking to put the forward and center Nikola Vucevic on the trade block after both stars upped their game and potentially, trade value in the process. Only time will tell if LaVine will find any takers before the trade deadline in February.
