LeBron James jokingly took issue with LA Lakers teammate and friend Anthony Davis after the latter downplayed his alley-oop dunk over Jonas Valanciunas. At age 40, James keeps doing things that not many athletes can do. During the Lakers' 111-88 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, James took off and dunked the ball over Jonas Valanciunas with a pass from Austin Reaves.
Talking with reporters in the locker room, Davis had a nonchalant reaction to James' dunk, saying he'd seen better from the four-time NBA champion.
“It wasn’t one of his best ones … I’ve seen better."

James listed to him and responded with a five-word message to show his discomfort.
"It be your own friends," he replied.
The Lakers showed no mercy to the Wizards, playing with high intensity every quarter, even holding the capital team to 11 points in the final period. Anthony Davis scored 29 points on 14-from-22 from the field, grabbed 16 rebounds, dished five assists, stole one ball and blocked four shots.
LeBron James recorded another triple-double with 21 points (8-from-18 from the field), 10 rebounds and 13 assists. He added two steals and one block to his account.
The Lakers improved to 23-18 this season, enough to rank sixth in the Western Conference standings. As for the Wizards, they dropped to 6-36, staying as the worst team in the entire NBA this campaign.
The dunk might have not been that good for Anthony Davis, but other people went crazy after James once again showed off his athleticism.
Bronny James in awe over LeBron James' impressive dunk over Jonas Valanciunas
While Anthony Davis tried to play it cool, Bronny James was stunned to see his father take off and throw the ball down like that. A video showing a different angle of the play and the Lakers bench caught the moment when everybody went into a frenzy as soon as LeBron James dunked that ball.
Bronny couldn't do anything but put his hands on his head in a sign of disbelief. Most of his teammates had the same reaction while LeBron flexed in front of the fans.
The night was perfect for LeBron, as he took the victory, made a terrific dunk and became the second player in NBA history to record a triple-double at the age of 40. The Lakers are within reach of the LA Clippers, only 0.5 games away from the No. 5 seed in the West.
