Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant has shared his interest in playing football before but has not had the chance. There have been a few NBA players who had short stints playing football in their younger years. Draymond Green had the chance to be part of that list as he practiced with the Michigan State Spartans football team while he was in college.

In an interview with Kay Adams on the "Up & Adams" show, Durant was asked about which among him and Green would become a better tight end. Confidence took over the Suns forward as he quickly chose himself over his former teammate. The 14-time All-Star didn't hesitate to trash the eight-time All-Defensive forward.

"Me. You've seen Draymond's footage, it looks terrible," Durant said. "Draymond played one spring game when he was at Michigan State. I guess he was talking trash to all the players and they told him to come out for the spring game and he looked horrible.

Adams admired the confidence that KD showed but wondered how the forward would play. The reporter brought up the star's height, which could be a problem for him if he played football. Durant answered with this:

"I play guard in the NBA, you know? So, I can get down a little lower than you think."

Playing football might not be the best idea for Durant right now. With his height, he could be an easy target and the physicality might be too much for the Suns' star.
