Ja Morant's ex KK Dixon wishes Xavier Tillman's 8-year-old with adorable pic ft. daughter Kaari J

Memphis Grizzlies All-Star guard Ja Morant's former girlfriend, KK Dixon, wished Xavier Tillman's eight-year-old daughter a happy birthday on social media, sharing an adorable photo of Tillman's daughter, Kaara Jaidyn.

The businesswoman and former athlete took to her Instagram Stories to greet Tillman's daughter, Yanni, with a collage of photos that also featured her daughter with Morant. She captioned it:

"Happy Birthday to the coolest 8 year old we know. We love yo sm miss yanni!! It's a party this weekend!!"

That Ja Morant's daughter is close to Tillman's is not surprising, since the two dads were teammates for four years in Memphis and were actually close. Tillman was traded to Boston midway through last season, a move that worked out well for him as he went on to win an NBA title with the Celtics.

Meanwhile, Morant and Dixon went their separate ways last year after being together for five years, which also saw them have Kaari during that time. While they are now separated, they have agreed to co-parent their daughter.

The two met back in college in 2017, when they were both student-athletes at Murray State.

Ja Morant says daughter is a motivation that keeps him going

Ja Morant is now in his sixth year in the NBA and continues to lead the Memphis Grizzlies with steady competitiveness. Among those providing significant motivation and inspiration for him is his daughter, Kaari Jaidyn.

The two-time NBA All-Star had his daughter with ex-girlfriend KK Dixon in 2019. She has been by his side through what has been a roller-coaster NBA career so far, something that is very close to his heart.

Morant highlighted what his daughter means to him in a touching (but now-deleted) Instagram post two years ago, writing:

"Kaari, you're the ONLY reason daddy is still going. You're too young to understand but yeah. I LOVE YOU."

In the ongoing season, Morant has been playing solid basketball with averages of 21.2 points, 9 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 11 games for the Grizzlies (14-8) so far. The former 2019 No. 2 pick out of Murray State is aiming to bounce back after being limited to just nine games last season due to a lengthy league suspension and a season-ending injury.
