Ja Morant's ex-partner KK Dixon reposted a video of her daughter, Kaari Jaidyn Morant interacting with some of the Memphis Grizzlies players on her Instagram story on Monday. Morant and Dixon are co-parents to their daughter Kaari J who was born in 2019. Their relationship came to an end in 2023.
Dixon reposted the video which showed Kaari J and her friend greeting the Memphis Grizzlies squad courtside. She captioned the story with two hearts.
The video was captured on the sidelines of the Grizzlies' matchup against the OKC Thunder on Sunday. Unfortunately for Kaari, her father didn't suit up for the game and has been sidelined due to a Grade 1 right shoulder sprain. At the time this story was published, Morant's status had been listed as week-to-week.

Grizzlies fall to Thunder in Ja Morant's absence
The Memphis Grizzlies and OKC Thunder faced off on Sunday night. Memphis was without Ja Morant but there were some expectations that Jaren Jackson Jr. would take over and carry Memphis to victory. Unfortunately for them, that wasn’t the case as the Thunder took home a 130-106 victory with a dominant 42-19 second-quarter performance.
Jackson Jr. wasn't at his best and the big man added just 13 points to go along with five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. Desmond Banes was the highest scorer for the Grizzlies and posted 22 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put in a dominant performance for OKC with 35 points, seven assists, six rebounds, four blocks and one steal. Six of his teammates finished in double figures including Ajay Mitchell and Isaiah Joe who had 20 and 21 points respectively.
Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are 22-11 this season and are in second place in the Western Conference. The Thunder have a 26-5 record and lead the West.
