NBA star Steph Curry has been going viral this week after a photo emerged of the four-time NBA champ recreating Olympic shooter Yusuf Dikec's viral pose. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Dikec went viral for his casual competitive attire during the Mixed 10M Air Pistol shooting competition.
Many other competitors wore both shooting jackets and pants, which are designed to be incredibly stiff to minimize movement while in shooting positions. In addition, competitors also wore special glasses that blocked their vision from one eye.
Dikec, however, walked up to the line wearing an ordinary pair of pants and a t-shirt, along with his usual glasses, making him stand out from the competition. As he raised his pistol, Dikec had his off-hand in his pocket, and both eyes open - a technique used by military members to maximize one's field of vision.
The pose went viral throughout the 2024 Paris Olympics, with Steph Curry recreating the pose at one point:

Steph Curry's SC30 corporation files trademark for "Nuit Nuit" following 2024 Paris Olympic performance
Throughout the 2024 Paris Olympics, Steph Curry and the rest of Team USA frequently used a sleeping hand gesture when the Golden State Warriors star hit a big shot. The goodnight hand gesture was then on full display during Team USA's semifinal matchup with Serbia, as well as the team's gold medal game against France.
After the Olympics, Curry then spoke with longtime reporter Rachel Nichols to discuss the team's win, signing off with "Nuit Nuit" which translates to "Night Night" in English. The phrase is a derivative of the more common French saying "Bonne Nuit," which means "Good night" and was then seen on a hoodie.
In a photo with his gold medal, Curry wore a "Nuit Nuit" hoodie, which also featured a graphic of the Eiffel Tower, as seen below.
While the hoodie was meant to be a one-off, knockoffs began to emerge online, prompting Steph Curry to trademark the phrase. Now, the future Hall of Famer will get to produce his own line of merchandise with it.
