Jalen Green's girlfriend Draya Michele balances self-care and celebration on son’s birthday

Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green's girlfriend Draya Michele managed to squeeze in some self-care as she marked her eldest son Kniko's birthday on Friday. She took to social media to share details of her day.

The 39-year-old social media personality, actor and fashion designer shared photos on her Instagram stories of her getting her nails done while giving a shoutout to her son on his special day.

Michele captioned one of her photos with:

"Birthday nails with my son!!"

Another photo had a caption which read:

Back in May, Michele and Jalen Green welcomed a daughter. Michele is 17 years older than the Rockets player which has led to discussions on the internet. They have however not paid much attention to the critics and have continued to grow their relationship.

In an interview with the fashion portal, WhoWhatWear back in 2020 Draya Michele spoke about the lessons which she had derived from motherhood. She became a mother to her eldest son Kniko Howard when she was just 17. Michele highlighted, among other things, time management as something she had learned since she had to balance motherhood with her entrepreneurial career.

"I learned time management," Michele said. "You have to be able to prioritize what's important to you, and if you're going to follow your passions, you have to accept that you're going to be busy, and you're going to have to prioritize for the things you love most."

In 2016, she and her then partner Orlando Scandrick welcomed a son, Jru Scandrick. Michele became a mother of three when she welcomed her daughter with Houston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green. She spoke about motherhood and captured her emotions with an Instagram post, which said:

"For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades. It's my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it's the privilege of bringing another woman into existence 🎀."
