Jalen Rose's daughter goes off on Draya Michele for attending beau Jalen Green's game with 22-year-old son

Houston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green's girlfriend, Draya Michele, is facing backlash for her and Green's 17-year age gap. Among the latest to pile on the former "Basketball Wives LA" star is ex-13-year NBA wing Jalen Rose's daughter, Mariah Rose.

Green and Michele, who have children from previous relationships, have been connected romantically since August 2023 and had their first child together in May 2024.

Michele has been a staunch supporter of Green's Rockets, regularly sharing photos of herself courtside at games. She also recently endorsed the fourth-year player to make his first All-Star team.

However, their relationship came under the microscope after Michele attended Houston's Dec. 27 home matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves with her eldest son, Kniko Howard. Posts quickly went viral on X/Twitter pointing out that Green and Howard are both 22.

Afterward, many took exception to the 39-year-old Michele taking a romantic interest in someone her son's age.

On Monday, Rose weighed in on Green and Michele's relationship. She posted a video on X questioning Michele's thought process when looking for a partner.

"All age gaps are not created equal," Rose said (Timestamp: 1:16). "... It's weird. How are you even attracted to somebody who is the same age as your child that you raised?

"When you were dropping your son off at school, or he was playing in the playground with the other kids, were you looking around like, 'That's going to be my future husband.' That is weird."

Rose added that she wants to "see a reality show of how (their family) dynamic works," particularly Green and Howard's daily interactions.

While Draya Michele continues facing scrutiny for her and Jalen Green's 17-year age gap, the couple appears to have acclimated to dealing with the negativity.

Over the summer, Michele told TMZ that she and Green were making a concerted effort to block out the outside noise.

"We try to stay off the internet and not really listen to that kind of stuff," Michele said.

The ex-reality TV star added that she sees nothing wrong with their consensual, loving relationship.

"Two adults being in love, I don't know why that would rub people the wrong way," Michele said. "It's kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day."

Thus, it appears fans will have to come to grips with their relationship seemingly being here to stay long-term.
