LeBron James has been mentioned more than once in the ongoing Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef that took the world by storm from March through May. These two big artists are special at what they do, but when Lamar decided to go against Drake, the majority of fans sided with the LA-based rapper.
Jason Martin, a rapper and producer from Compton, joined the Bootleg Kev on Monday to discuss this topic. Martin, formerly known as Problem, made a comparison between Drake and Kendrick, likening them to LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, respectively.
"I look at this as a very competitive Super Bowl, as opposed to two guys going at it. It was like this is the team I'm rooting for, this is the team they're rooting for. I knew how this was going to end, because I knew the guy that you were going against, Drake. I know him, all of us know him," Martin started. (1:20)

"I look at him, I hold him like, you got LeBron James, which is Drake. And you got Kobe Bryant. You got somebody that only cares about basketball. He only cares about Hip Hop. He don't give a f**k about none of the other s**t. It's win or win," Martin said.

Kendrick's approach to Hip Hop is very similar to Kobe Bryant working on his craft on the court. As Martin noted, they have a huge competitive spirit and are focused on winning whenever they go out there.
Bryant didn't hesitate to spend hours in the gym, perfecting his scoring abilities. Similarly, Lamar always works on his game before dropping new music and tries to give fans the best they can.
LeBron James and Drake are similar in that aspect, but it's not a secret that they don't hesitate to try more stuff and don't focus only on one thing, although they're also crazy about winning.
LeBron James was spotted dancing to Kendrick Lamar's diss track against Drake
LeBron James has apparently given his verdict on this situation as he was spotted dancing to 'Not Like Us' at a club. This track was aimed at Drake when Kendrick Lamar was firing non-stop against the Canadian rapper.
Both LeBron and his wife were spotted dancing to this song, seemingly giving the nod to Kendrick in this beef. The LA Lakers superstar was once very closed with Drake but given the recent developments, it seems like things have changed.
