American sports columnist Jason Whitlock gave his take on the ongoing controversy involving Joy Taylor and Skip Bayless on Saturday.
The turn of the year brought about a fresh wave of controversy for Fox Sports as their leading broadcasters were named in a lawsuit filed by Noushin Faraji, a longtime hairdresser at the channel.
Faraji accused Bayless of sexual harassment and Taylor of workplace misconduct, including making racially insensitive comments.
Jason Whitlock addressed the issue on his X account several times during the week. Whitlock suggested that former Fox broadcaster Shannon Sharpe had a role in this controversy. Whitlock asserted that Sharpe had taken revenge on Bayless and the Fox network after his unceremonious exit from the company in 2023.

"Hat tip Shannon Sharpe. He channeled Michael Corleone in Godfather with this hit. He settled all debts. Sharpe had an accomplice or two," he wrote.
A handle insinuated that Whitlock would talk about this saga for hours on end on his podcast:
"Is your show on Monday going to be 8 hours long?" she wrote.
The former ESPN and Fox broadcaster replied to this tweet.
"I'm in a tough spot. I know all involved parties. The story speaks to narratives that I discuss regularly. Corruption in TV and the media. The injection of women as "host" in male discussions. I'll figure out what I'm comfortable sharing/saying. What I can say for sure is Shannon Sharpe got revenge on the people he viewed as doing him wrong at FS1. Another prominent personality benefited as well. It's a dirty game."
The accusations against Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor
On Jan. 3, a 42-page lawsuit was filed against three people, which stated that individuals within the Fox network used their "position to sexually harass women."
The plaintiff Noushin Faraji worked for the company between 2021 and 2024 as a hairstylist for many shows, including "Undisputed" hosted by Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe and moderated by Joy Taylor.
The suit by Faraji alleged that Skip over the years had "begun finding excuses to touch" her while also offering over $1.5 million to have sex. The lawsuit also claimed that Bayless had accused Noushin of "sleeping" with Shannon Sharpe, his co-star on "Undisputed."
According to the lawsuit, Joy Taylor "insulted Ms. Faraji on a personal and professional level" on many occasions and allegedly mocked the pronunciation of her name.
