Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown took issue with the Minnesota Timberwolves broadcast team after his team escaped Sunday's game with a 107-105 win at TD Garden. The swingman entered the game amid a shooting slump, but as soon as the duel started, he was off to a hot start.
As he made several 3-pointers in the very first quarter of the game, the Timberwolves broadcast team mentioned that he wasn't going through his best moment shooting-wise. Brown reacted to those words on X (formerly Twitter) with a four-word not safe for work (NSFW) message.
"Hating a** broadcast lol," he tweeted Sunday night.

"Jaylen Brown has not shot the ball quick from outside here, he knocks down that slot three right there. You look at his shot chart, it is not good. It's a not a green shot chart at all. It's a lot of red and a lot of white. White is the league average, red is under the league average," the commentator said after Brown made his first 3-pointer.
As he kept making those shots, including one from a spot where he's shot 4-for-23, the reactions were the same. They couldn't believe what they were seeing, as Brown led the Celtics in scoring in the first quarter, although they lost the period, 27-24.
He and Jayson Tatum took over the game to secure a two-point win that could have been more comfortable for the defending NBA champions.
How did Jaylen Brown fare against the Timberwolves Sunday night?
The Timberwolves gave the Celtics all they could handle on Sunday. After winning the second quarter by six points and entering halftime with a three-point lead, the Celtics extended the lead to 10 in the third quarter.
The Timberwolves made things interesting in the final period and actually put pressure on the C's, but the prior advantage was enough for the defending NBA champions to hold onto their 107-105 win.
Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston, scoring 29 points, grabbing two rebounds and dishing four assists. He shot 10-for-18 from the field, including 7-for-10 from beyond the arc, confirming that the slump ended against Minnesota. Tatum added 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
Boston improved to 14-3 after this game and confirmed they aren't suffering from a championship hangover. Brown and Co. are picking things where they left off last season and the Celtics look more dangerous by the day.
