Jayson Tatum called out the officials for missing an evident foul by Julius on him during the Boston Celtics' 109-94 loss to the New York Knicks. Tatum attempted a 3-pointer, but Randle appeared to slap the former on the wrist. After Monday's game, the 2023 All-Star Game MVP took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Tatum retweeted a video of Randle's foul, captioning the post, writing:

"Lol this what I get for fouling Bron"

Tatum was referring to his blatant foul on LeBron James during the Celtics' 125-121 OT win over the LA Lakers at home on January 28th. James could've sealed the win for his team on the last attempt if not for officials missing Tatum's foul.

The Lakers star drove to the basket on the last possession with the score tied at 105-105, but his shot deviated after Tatum slapped him on his shooting arm. The referees didn't call a foul on Tatum, which forced the game to go into overtime.

Jayson Tatum was on the receiving end of a controversial no-call this time. He believed the officials ignored Julius Randle's foul on him because of a missed call against LeBron James that went his way.

Jayson Tatum receives first career ejection

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics endured a frustrating night against the New York Knicks. Tatum's shooting slump continued as he went 6-of-18 from the field, scoring 14 points for his team. He played 36 minutes and was ejected with 3:46 left in the fourth quarter.

Tatum didn't stop complaining to the officials after the no-call on Julius Randle. He issued his first technical towards the end of the third quarter to argue with official Derek Richardson as Tatum believed he was fouled on a dunk attempt.

Tatum directed sarcastic remarks toward referee Joe Derosa before getting ejected in the fourth period after receiving his second technical foul of the night. Here's what the Boston Celtics forward said after the game (via NBC Sports):

"I just told them this is probably the best officiated game I've been a part of. I tried to give them a compliment, it didn't go over so well."

Tatum has attempted three free throws over his last two games. The free-throw disparity against his rivals must have lingered over his mind. Tatum averaged 9.4 FTAs per game in January, but the number has dropped to 7.1 since February.
