Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum achieved a notable milestone on Monday night as his team won its 18th NBA championship, marking their first title since 2008. After ending the 16-year drought, Celtics Nation was celebrating this feat, including Tatum's girlfriend, Ella Mai.

A short clip on X shows Mai congratulating Al Horford after this win, and fans noticed that she had a baby bump. The video is only four seconds long, but that was enough for fans to spot the apparent baby bump.

"So Ella Mai IS pregnant. What a W year Tatum," one fan wrote on X.

This video opened the door for more fans, who didn't hesitate to share their reactions to this potential pregnancy. Plenty of them were happy for Tatum and congratulated the first-time NBA champion for his off-court success.

"Tatum has hit Baby Mama Stage, we’re doomed," one fan said.
"I wasn’t familiar with Tatum's game," another fan said.
"Bro sat wining on all courts," one fan said.

Others noted that Jayson Tatum has been winning all season long, while a couple of them concluded that this might be the reason Ella Mai isn't dropping new music.

"Buddy just won a chip, a baby on the way with Ella and 300 M’s on the way. Good for you Jayson, good for you," one fan said.

Jayson Tatum called out critics following Celtics' NBA championship win

Jayson Tatum and the Celtics entered the 2024 NBA playoffs with huge expectations after falling short of winning the championship or reaching the Finals in the past two seasons. Tatum was criticized for his lack of success with the Celtics and they all responded with a dominant run.

After securing the Larry O'Brien trophy, JT sent a clear message to his doubters, wondering what they're going to say about him now.

"First of all, God is the greatest. Not cause we won but he put me in a position to maximize my God-given abilities, to surround me with these guys, my family. This is an incredible feeling. ... It's been a long journey. We have a resilient group. We've been through a lot over the last couple of years, over my seven years (in Boston). What they gonna say now? What they gonna say now?!" Tatum said.

This was a big win for the Celtics, who finished the regular season with the best record in the entire NBA and lost only three games during the postseason.
