Former NBA player turned analyst Kendrick Perkins revealed which team he feels Jimmy Butler should go to if he gets traded. Butler remains the talk of the town as he got suspended by the Miami Heat for the third time this month. It's clear that both parties want to part ways with each other but are struggling to find a new home for the star forward.

During an "NBA Today" segment, Perkins unveiled his top five picks for Butler's trade destination. The list included teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. However, Perkins' top pick is the Memphis Grizzlies.

Big Perk feels that Jimmy "Buckets" should take his talents to the $3 billion worth franchise. He thinks Butler can win a title with the Grizzlies considering how complete their roster is and how well they're doing in the Western Conference.

“I feel like [Memphis Grizzlies] is the best destination for Jimmy Butler. I don’t know why Jimmy doesn’t want to be in Memphis. If you think about the core four they would have, there's Desmond Bane, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jimmy Butler. They’re already one of the best teams in the West, but I might pick the Grizzlies to go to the Finals if Jimmy Butler was on this team.”

Miami Heat suspends Jimmy Butler for a third time

It seems that we won't be seeing Jimmy Butler playing on the hardwood anytime soon as the Miami Heat suspended the star forward for a third time this season. Butler was initially suspended for seven games earlier this month due to his behavior in the locker room. During his first suspension, the intention was to trade Jimmy to another team.

Unfortunately for both parties, they failed to secure a deal. Butler's suspension was then lifted, which resulted in him playing three games for the Heat before getting suspended for a second time. His second suspension was due to Jimmy missing his team's flight and it was for only two games.

On Monday, while it was expected that Butler would make his return to the lineup against the Orlando Magic, it will no longer happen as Miami suspended him for leaving team practice early.

His suspension is indefinite and will be without pay. Given the circumstances, Jimmy will have to find a new team fast if he wants to start playing again.
