On his podcast, Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports touched on Butler potentially being traded by the Heat. He brought up the Milwaukee Bucks entering the fray, but not for why most would think.

Since the Jimmy Butler trade rumors first started swirling, the Phoenix Suns have been the main team linked to him. If they were to deal for the All-Star forward, they'd likely be parting ways with guard Bradley Beal. O'Connor opened up on this hypothetical framework and said the Bucks could look to acquire him in a multi-team deal.

(43:15) "One thing I've heard that I don't think I've seen out there," O'Connor said. "Maybe don't think about the Bucks as the Butler team. The Bucks don't need to be inolved for Butler.

"They could be involved in a different way. That made me think, could Milwaukee be the Bradley Beal team."

The Bucks had a bit of a rocky start to the season but have since turned things around. Led by their star duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, they sit in fifth place in the East with a 19-16 record.

On Tuesday, Chris Haynes put out a report that Butler has informed multiple teams not to trade for him. He only mentioned the Memphis Grizzlies as one, but other insiders have brought more teams to light.

Kevin O'Connor cited that the Bucks were in that group of teams not to get in business for Jimmy Butler. All signs point towards him wanting to end up on one of his originally preferred teams, the Phoenix Suns.

The Bucks offer Butler a chance to compete for a championship this season, but it would likely end up being a rental. He has a player option for next year, and reports indicate that he plans on hitting the open market this summer. With so much money tied up in their superstar duo, Milwaukee isn't a team that could offer Butler a sizable extension.
