While reporting on the Jimmy Butler saga last week, Shams Charania cited that the All-Star forward wants to play anywhere but Miami. Following new developments from a different insider, that might not be the case.

Butler's fallout with the Heat has become the biggest topic in the NBA leading up to the February 6 trade deadline. Following a pair of lackluster showings, the team decided to suspend him for seven games. Despite initially coming out with a statement saying they weren't trading Butler, recent reports suggest they've begun listening to offers.

On Tuesday afternoon, Chris Haynes brought new light to the Jimmy Butler saga. He reported that teams such as the Memphis Grizzlies have been told not to trade for him as he has no desire of playing there now or in the future.

"The Memphis Grizzlies, along with a few other teams, have received word that Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has no interest in being traded there," Haynes said.

Based on how things have unfolded, it looks like a trade is the only way things will end between Butler and the Heat. Prior to being suspended, he told the media he lost his joy playing basketball and doesn't think he'll find it again in Miami.

With roughly four weeks to go until the deadline, time is slowly running out for the Heat to make a final decision regarding Butler.

The Miami Heat aren't receiving good offers for Jimmy Butler due to his contract

While Jimmy Butler is a high-caliber player who is capable of raising the ceiling on any team, the Heat are going to have a tough time moving him. Between the public disconnect with the franchise and his contract, teams are going to lowball with their offers.

This offseason, Butler has a player option for the final year of his contract. He's made it clear that no matter what happens, he plans on declining. With the chance of him only being a rental, inquiring teams aren't going to give up high-end assets to trade for him.

While on ESPN's "First Take" Tuesday morning, Brian Windhorst touched on the offers the Heat have received for Butler. He mentioned teams are putting together lackluster offers and the Phoenix Suns are the only team ready to pay him top dollar.

"Jimmy Butler isn't going to extend with any team. And so, because teams know that, they're offering the Heat right now the poo-poo platter," Windhorst said. "There's only one team that is ready to pay Jimmy Butler exactly what he wants, and that is the Phoenix Suns."

The Suns acquiring Butler comes with their own set of obstacles due to other contractual issues. Bradley Beal would be the primary piece dealt in a move like this and the All-Star guard has a no-trade clause in his contract.
