JJ Redick's frustrations seemingly continue to boil over with the LA Lakers' recent run of form. The team dropped to its 12th loss under the rookie coach after Friday's 97-87 defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Redick's Lakers committed 22 turnovers in potentially one of their more winnable games of the season. However, it wasn't meant to be, courtesy of another poor showing in the clutch.
As Redick spoke to the media after the game, several fans picked up on his mannerisms, indicating the coach's dejection after the Lakers' eighth loss in 11 outings. A pic of Redick squinting his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose went viral, and Lakers Twitter speculated his state of mind as one user wrote:
"Bro starting to regret taking the job"

One fan mocked D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura, blaming them for JJ Redick's frustration:
"this is what Hitlo and Rui bin Laden does to a man"
One user reassured Redick that the Lakers front office was bringing reinforcements via trade, saying:
"Hang in there JJ we got a trade coming soon"
Another fan claimed former coach Darvin Ham has been happy since he left the Lakers.
"Darvin ham was happy to leave. He been smiling with Milwaukee & they winning."
"Tears this is what Osama.. I mean DLO does to a coach," one fan said.
"My second ex-wife looked just like this after the marriage too," one fan joked.
JJ Redick sounds off on Lakers' offensive woes vs Timberwolves
JJ Redick didn't seem to be in a good mood on Friday despite the Lakers' best defensive effort of the season against the Timberwolves. Redick wasn't pleased with how the offense failed to deliver on a night where the defense was impeccable. He cited the turnovers and lack of execution, saying:
"Never wanna inbound the ball to the other team after a made field goal and give up a dunk. Some of it, you know, not holding our positioning, and sort of timing our physicality to get open on horns (set), I think we had three turnovers just on horns alone," Redick said. "Yeah, killed us."
Redick also wasn't buying the fact that the Lakers had 4 of 6 field goals on fastbreaks after forcing turnovers.
"It's a lie."
The Lakers finished the night with 21 turnovers, with at least seven players losing the ball multiple times. The struggles from 3-point land continued as well after LA made only 10 of 35 shots. The Lakers' offense early in the season is what led them to a 10-4 start.
However, the execution and attention to detail haven't been as astute since, which explains JJ Redick's frustrations. Even on off-shooting nights, the Lakers have managed wins before with impeccable player and ball movement, but those habits have faded amid this rough stretch, where everything seems to be going off the rails.
