Jon Rahm eclipses LeBron James by $142,000,000 on list of highest-earning Olympians

Jon Rahm will represent Team Spain at the Paris 2024 Olympics starting Aug. 1. He is one of the prominent names in the 60-golfer field at the Le Golf National. Jon Rahm became one of the highest-paid golfers as he joined the LIV Golf Invitational Series this year.

According to Sportico, Rahm earned around $190 million after leaving the PGA Tour and joining LIV Golf. This incredible figure has made the Spanish golfer the highest-paid athlete at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Along with the $190 million, Rahm has earned around $20 million in endorsements, taking his total to $210 million.

NBA star LeBron James is placed second with $47.7 million in salary/winnings, with $80 million in endorsements taking his total earnings to $127.7 million.

Rahm's $142 million earnings have made NBA star LeBron James look like a minnow. Along with endorsements, the difference is around $72 million, which is still a significant difference.

The top 10 athletes on this list are all NBA stars or golfers. Apart from Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler are in sixth and seventh place, respectively.
