New York Knicks star center Karl-Anthony Towns delivered his best performance with his new team during Wednesday's 116-107 road victory over the Miami Heat. Afterward, Knicks wing Josh Hart reacted in one word, referencing the big man's cat-inspired nicknames.

Wednesday's outing marked Towns' fourth with New York since being acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three-team deal ahead of the season. The four-time All-Star stole the show, finishing with a game-high 44 points, 13 rebounds and four 3-pointers, shooting 17-for-25 (68.0%).

Towns' standout play helped the Knicks rally from a 13-point third-quarter deficit to get back to .500 (2-2) after a rocky start to the season. It also gave New York's fanbase a preview of the 10-year veteran's offensive ceiling at the five spot.
