Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson are practically inseparable at this point. Between their college stint at Villanova to their renewed ties with the New York Knicks, all the way to their podcast, the "Roommates Show," they apparently can't get enough of each other.

So, when a certain Brunson clip went viral, Hart just had to drop an emoji-laden reaction.

In the clip, Brunson appears to use his head in order to get some space from his defender, Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley. The ploy works: Quickley is knocked back a few steps which gives Brunson an opening to knock down a one-handed jumper in the lane.

"Jalen Brunson using his big a** head to clear space," read the caption for the clip.

In response, Hart posted a bunch of laughing emojis — seven, to be exact.

Hart's reaction to Brunson's viral moment was a nice moment of levity amid recent struggles by the Knicks. The team's 112-98 win over the Raptors at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday snapped a three-game losing streak that began shortly after New Year's Day. Despite the consecutive losses in 2025, the Knicks are still firmly at No. 3 in the Eastern Conference standings.

Even with the arrival of All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns, Brunson remains the heart and soul of the team, leading the Knicks in assists and putting up 25.0 points per night (second only to Towns's 25.3 average). Meanwhile, Hart continues to be an indispensable glue guy who chips in rebounds, playmaking and nonstop hustle.

Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson had some fun with wordplay

While Josh Hart has taken playful jabs at Jalen Brunson on several occasions, the Knicks starting point guard has shown that he isn't afraid to fire back.

In December, Hart used some suggestive terms when talking about a certain defensive assignment in yet another game against the Raptors.

"Second half, Jalen Brunson kept saying, 'I want Dick. I’ll take Dick,'" Hart told Stefan Bondy of "The New York Post."

Wanting to defend himself, Brunson responded on social media.

"He’s lying on my name," Brunson tweeted.

The Knicks happened to win that game as well to the tune of 113-108. It would seem, then, that netizens will get more of Hart and Brunson's lighthearted banter as long as the Knicks keep winning.
