Jrue Holiday is back in the NBA Finals three years after winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy with the Milwaukee Bucks. The defensive ace played a key role in Milwaukee’s first championship since 1971 during the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar-Oscar Robertson era. Holiday’s second stint in the title series comes with his new team, the Boston Celtics.

While “JHolla” is helping lead the Celtics to end their 16-year championship drought, his wife, Lauren Holiday, has been busy supporting the team. Behind the scenes, the two-time Olympic gold medallist is hyping up her husband and their kids with some do-it-your-own product manufacturing.

The legendary soccer star posted on Instagram a clip of herself making custom-made jackets for herself and her children. Unsurprisingly, the all-black apparel was highlighted by the traditional bold green color of the Celtics. The word “Boston,” which has been made to glitter like diamonds, was emblazoned across the front.

Jrue Holiday’s wife Lauren Holiday and their kids have adapted and embraced the city the basketball star is playing in now.

The Bucks sent Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Damian Lillard before the Boston Celtics acquired him in a separate deal. It was a transaction that stunned Holiday’s wife, who went on social media to give her thoughts about players getting traded without notice.

Being married to a former athlete who has won in various global competitions has its perks. Jrue Holiday, who has been married to Lauren Holiday for 11 years, has gotten used to his wife’s candidness regarding his game.

Holiday once admitted that the former FC Kansas City forward told him not to go home if he didn’t go all-out every time he played. “JHolla” had this to say about how his fellow UCLA Bruin star evaluates his performances in the NBA:

“She is encouraging. It’s not like she is talking trash all the time. … She’s brutally honest and I just use different words.”
