Julius Randle's wife Kendra Randle overwhelmed by nostalgia over son Kyden’s throwback photo from Timberwolves star's trainer

On Saturday, Kendra Randle, the wife of Timberwolves star Julius Randle, reposted on her Instagram story a throwback photo of their son, Kyden Randle. Renowned basketball trainer Tyler Relph, who has worked with Randle, shared a collage of his son Theo Relph with Kyden in a basketball gym.

In the upper image, the kids can be seen running, while in the lower picture, the two are sitting side-by-side in the middle of a court.

Tyler tagged the Instagram accounts of Kyden's parents, Julius and Kendra, as well as the accounts of Theo and his wife, Olivia Barr. He included a caption that indicated it was old photos:

"Throwback"

Although it is unclear when the photo was taken, Kendra reposted the story and shared a caption with her 56,000 followers.

"Omg crying 🥹🥹😩😭," the caption said.

College sweethearts Kendra and Julius Randle both attended the University of Kentucky and have been married since 2017. Seven-year-old Kyden was born in December 2016 and was seven months old at the time of his parents' wedding. The Randles' second child, Jayce Carter, was born in October 2021.

On Dec. 7, the Randles announced that Kendra was pregnant with their third child. Kendra announced on her X account.

"WE’RE HAVING A GIRL💕💕🎀🎀🎀💝💝💝," Kendra said.

In a separate post, she shared how grateful and happy she was.

"I can’t believe I will be a girl mama. I can’t explain how grateful I am to be having a daughter. I always accepted I would be a boy mom which I LOVE, but I always dreamt of having a baby girl with them. I can’t believe god gave us a girl but I’m so grateful💕🎀💝," Kendra added.

This season, Julius Randle, a three-time NBA All-Star, joined his fourth team in the NBA. He had previously played in LA, New Orleans, and New York. During the offseason, he was part of a three-team trade that shipped him to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kendra has spoken about the change, saying that, while the change was shocking, she was thrilled about the new chapter in their young family.

Currently in his 11th season in the NBA, Julius joins a team that reached the Western Conference Finals last season. In 23 games with the Timberwolves, he is averaging 20.4 points, seven rebounds, and four assists on 48.9% shooting and 36.7% from the arc.
