Kyrie Irving sheds light on conversation with Doncic after Dallas slipped to 0-2 in NBA Finals

Kyrie Irving addressed the Dallas Mavericks' disappointing Game 2 loss at the NBA finals. Irving shouldered the blame for the loss and also revealed a conversation he had with Luka Doncic who has been spectacular in both games so far.

The Mavericks star highlighted that he approached Doncic after the game to let him know about his feelings after the disappointing loss. Irving also emphasized that the NBA Finals is not just about him and Luka Doncic.

"It all started with me. Just telling my hermano, I gotta play better for him alongside him and you know in order for us to accomplish our goal... just letting him know it is my fault, taking accountability for not playing particularly well," Irving said.

Kyrie Irving warns Celtics fans for a returning Game 5 at TD Garden

The Dallas Mavericks did not have the greatest start to their NBA Finals series against the Boston Celtics. They suffered losses in the first two games of the series putting them under great pressure. While Luka Doncic has continued to shine despite the losses the same can't be said for Kyrie Irving who is facing his former team.

Irving received an unpleasant welcome at the TD Garden with the Celtics fans booing him tirelessly every time he possessed the ball. However, Kyrie Irving issued a bold warning to the Caltics fans as he was leaving.

He held up his hand with all his five fingers in the direction of the fans. Irving implied that he and the Mavs would be returning for Game 5 at the TD Garden after beating the Celtics in Dallas. Game 3 between the Mavs and the Celtics will be played at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Wednesday.
