Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks played their home opener against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. This was a special occasion for Towns, as he played his first game in front of his Knicks crowd. The occasion was even more precious for the NBA star as both his father and his girlfriend were in attendance.

Also, it seems like Towns' girlfriend Jordyn Woods and his father are really hitting it off. Woods had joined Towns' father Karl Towns Sr. courtside for the game and even posted a picture with him on her Instagram Story.

In one of the stories that she had posted on Instagram, she took a selfie with Towns' father. Below the picture, she summed up her relationship with her boyfriend's father.

Karl-Anthony Towns' mother, Jacqueline Towns, died after COVID-19-related complications in 2020. Woods was the person KAT leaned on for support, and she helped him cope with the loss. On the other hand, Woods also lost her father, John Woods, in 2017 after his long battle with cancer.

Towns finished the game with 21 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks in the win against the Pacers.

Woods wore a leather Knicks jacket for the occasion and paired it with a denim skirt. She also posted a picture with her All-Star boyfriend after the game, looking into Towns' eyes as she held him.

Towns' first two games with the Knicks haven't gone according to plan. He is averaging just 16.5 points per game in his first two games. However, he has been efficient offensively, shooting 50.0% from the field and 75.0% from the 3-point line.

KAT has also added to the defensive intensity of the Knicks. He is averaging 11.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Moreover, this is just the start of the season, and it is only a matter of time before the former Minnesota Timberwolves star finds his rhythm with his new team.
