Karl Anthony Towns has been putting up impressive numbers in his first year with the New York Knicks. While Towns has been making his case in the MVP conversations, his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, took to Instagram to show how she is enjoying her alone time on a date night.
In her Instagram story, Woods snapped a picture of a reserved table with a menu on Tuesday night in a restaurant where she apparently spent a solo date night. She also captioned the photo with her three-word reaction about her alone time.
“Dinner for 1,” she wrote.

The picture showed the name of the restaurant, “Crown Club,” which is an exclusive club that provides intimate dining experiences for guests in the Barclays Center, where Towns played as the Knicks faced their neighboring rivals, the Brooklyn Nets.
The dinner night came as Towns dominated for the Knicks in their 99-95 win against the Nets. Towns, who spent his first nine years in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, dropped a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds.
Woods has been on Towns’ side since the COVID pandemic started in 2020, a time when Towns was still playing on a struggling Timberwolves roster. Now with the Knicks, the couple has been enjoying their time together in the New York area.
As he impresses this season with the Knicks, Towns is expected to make it into this year’s All-Star team, as he averages 25.1 points, 13.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. He is also shooting a career-high 43.3% from the 3-point line in almost five attempts per game.
Karl-Anthony Towns calls Minnesota “home” despite now playing in New York
Karl-Anthony Towns and girlfriend Jordyn Woods have been acclimating to the lifestyle in New York since the 7-foot big man was traded to the Knicks in the offseason. However, Towns’ love for Minnesota remains after playing for almost a decade with the Timberwolves.
Towns, who was drafted by the Wolves in 2015, said he still regards Minnesota as home as he returned to the Timberwolves home floor in December.
"They're still my brothers," he said. "They're still my guys. Just because a trade happened doesn't mean I lost love for them. The brotherhood is always going to be there…Of course. I was here nine years. That's a long time I had called this place home."
Towns was traded to the Knicks for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo in the offseason, following the Timberwolves' run to the Western Conference finals in last year’s playoffs. Towns played a huge role last year, blending well with Minnesota star Anthony Edwards in his first deep playoff run in his career.
Currently, the Knicks are sitting in the third spot in the Eastern Conference with a 29-16 win-loss record.
