The NBA world reacted to Kevin Durant's almost-perfect game against Serbia on Sunday. Durant entered the game and killed any hope that Nikola Jokic and Co. had for the game by halftime.

The Phoenix Suns superstar scored 21 points on 8/8 shooting from the field in the first half. It almost seemed as if he was toying with the opponents. Durant went 8-of-9 from the field by the end of regulation.

Reacting to Team USA Olympic's all-time leading scorer's stellar performance, LA Lakers player D'Angelo Russell wrote that he was witnessing greatness.

"Witnessing greatness. Ima fan," Russell wrote on his X handle.

Kevin Durant and LeBron James overwhelm Nikola Jokic and Serbia with a dominating performance

This will perhaps be the last time Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and LeBron James will play at the Olympics. As these superstars started the first episode of their last dance, Durant and James gave a glimpse of why they are two of the most decorated players in basketball.

While Team USA is loaded with talents, Durant and LeBron led the team in their opening game. It seemed as if both the stars wanted to make a statement against their opponents. KD started with 8 of 8 from the field, and James with 5 of 5.

Durant ended his minutes with a game-high 23 points, missing just one shot from the field. James scored 21 points while shooting 9-of-13 from the field and 1-of-3 from the three-point line. He also had seven rebounds and nine assists.

Anthony Edwards, Jrue Holiday, Devin Booker and Steph Curry scored in double digits. Holiday scored 15 points, Booker had 12 points, and Curry and Edwards had 11 points each in the 110-84 win.
