Kevin Durant is expected to make his debut for the Phoenix Suns this week, and his new teammates and coaches cannot wait to see him in action. Durant was traded by the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline Feb. 9 but hasn't played a game due to an MCL sprain on Jan. 8.
KD is expected to make his debut on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets. He was closely monitored ahead of the game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, which ended in a 104-101 loss.
Devin Booker, who played alongside Durant on the U.S. Men's National Basketball team, is excited about his return:

"I'm sure Kev is coming back soon, so we can see what that looks like."
Deandre Ayton, meanwhile, spoke about how anxious he is to play alongside the two-time champion:
"We feel like fans wondering how this is going to look. ... We feel more anxious than the fans. That’s how I feel."
Coach Monty Williams is looking forward to seeing the 2013-14 MVP in action despite not being sure if he'll be ready on Wednesday:
"We’ll have to see. ... We’re not quite sure, but we’ll have to see."
Durant's return is highly anticipated by fans and his teammates. His addition has given Phoenix another scoring threat, which will be extremely useful in the postseason. It will be interesting to see if three ball-dominant players can make things work.
Durant is averaging 29.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists, while shooting 55.9%, including 37.6% from 3-point range, this season.
