Kevin Durant was honest in admitting that he couldn't sleep after games. The 2x NBA champion was up and buzzing on X (formerly Twitter) in the wee hours of Thursday morning following the Phoenix Suns' 110-100 win over the Denver Nuggets. Durant led the side with 27 points, four rebounds, and six assists as the Suns bounced back against Nikola Jokic and Co with a win on Christmas Day after losing 117-90 earlier.
The veteran forward in interaction with fans revealed he couldn't sleep immediately after games after taking in trolls on social media. It started with responding to a clip of the battle of the bigs between Karl-Anthony Towns and Victor Wembanyama where the fan shed light on KAT's celebration after draining a 3. To which Durant responded:
"Nostalgia got this man in every wrestling move u can think of, we all wish we could be a kid again and experience life with no responsibilities, everything seemed better back then. Then u grow up…."

This was followed by another fan weighing in on the bigs facing off and how the banter aspect of the game was funny back in the day, but not in the present. Another fan asked the 35-year-old if he wouldn't sleep, and there was another reply, and a crisp one at that. While the tweet has been deleted, there was a screenshot of it doing the rounds.
"Not after games, it's a little tough"
Kevin Durant and the Suns are now 15-14 after the win. They are placed eighth in the West below the LA Lakers and the LA Clippers at sixth and seventh seed respectively.
