After one of the best starts in the NBA, winning 12 of their first 15 games, the Golden State Warriors slipped into a five-game skid, falling to 12-8 on the season. Since their losing streak, the Warriors are 2-1 and trending upward, notching a bounce-back win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home on Sunday night.

Golden State finished with four players scoring in double figures, including Kevon Looney, who led the bench in scoring. Looney helped a crucial 7-0 run from the Warriors in the fourth quarter with a thunderous dunk after a smooth cut to the basket. The dunk ignited the crowd and forced a turnover from Minnesota's bench.

Looney's girlfriend, Mariah Simone, reposted the highlight with a caption on her Instagram story.

Kevon Looney helps Warriors to bounce-back win over Minnesota

Kevon Looney played a crucial role in helping the Warriors to their second win in three games and a bounce-back victory versus Minnesota. Entering Sunday's matchup, Golden State was looking to bounce back following a 107-90 loss versus the Timberwolves on Friday.

Golden State closed out Minnesota 114-106, fueled by back-to-back baskets from Kevon Looney in the fourth quarter. The 10th-year big man finished with 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting and a team-high nine rebounds.

Stephen Curry, Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga led the way in the Warriors' win, combining for 77 of Golden State's 114 points. Curry scored a game-high 30 points, connecting on five of his 11 3-point attempts, and dished out eight assists. Hield scored 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting and buried seven 3-pointers. Kuminga poured in 20 points, seven rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists.

Despite moving to the bench to start the season, Kevon Looney has remained productive. Through 23 games this season, he is averaging 5.6 points per game and is leading the team with 7.9 rebounds per game, which leads all NBA bench players (min. 10 games).
