"Kid is a gamer": Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union shares proud parent moment with daughter in school recital montage

Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union attended their daughter Kaavia James' dance recital at her school. The family seemingly had a gala time at the event and Union posted a montage of pictures and videos on Instagram.

One video showed their five-year-old daughter completing an adorable dance routine in a pink dress. Wade and Union also made an appearance.

The video itself had the following caption:

“en pointe runs in the genes. side note: the wades stay in formation… even from the crowd 😎”

Union also praised her five-year-old daughter, highlighting how serious Kaavia was about her preparation:

“She was sooooooo serious about her preparation yall have no idea. Kid is a gamer, stays ready.”

Udonis Haslem was also present at Dwyane Wade’s daughter Kaavia’s dance recitation

Udonis Haslem, another Miami Heat legend, is Kaavia James’ godfather and was present to support her. The clip included a photo of the two together along with Kaavia James.

Kaavia started school earlier this year and went viral for the ‘shady baby’ trend.

Still only five, she has already amassed 1.8 million followers on Instagram. She regularly features on both of her parents’ social media.

While the family includes five kids, the other four are a result of Wade’s former relationships.
