Gilbert Arenas' ex, Laura Govan, pumped up her daughter, Hamiley Arenas, over her most recent game. The 16-year-old player enrolled to play at Notre Dame Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles, California, for her freshman high school season and is already making noise with her performances.
Govan shared Instagram stories on Friday to highlight Hamiley Arenas' performance for the Knights, first praising her performance on the less glamorous side of the ball.
"Defense Is Crazy. @hamileyarenas0," she captioned the first story.

"Killed it! @hamileyarenas0," she wrote.
Gilbert Arenas has produced kids who can at least play at a solid level in high school. His eldest daughter, Izela, committed to Louisville after four years at Sierra Canyon. His eldest son, Alijah, is set to take on a new challenge at Chatsworth High after a remarkable sophomore season including a 44-point performance in the CIF State Division IV final.
Hamiley Arenas is next, and her mother is doing everything to hype her up as she embarks new journey with the Knights.
Gilbert Arenas' ex Laura Govan was ecstatic after Hamiley Arenas' first game in high school
This isn't the first time Hamiley Arenas has shown her talents on the court and not even the first time her mother has rallied behind her. She recorded a double-double in her debut game for Notre Dame against Campbell, scoring 27 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in the 75–70 loss.
The basketball page "Home Team Hoops" shared highlights of her performance against Campbell, which excited Govan and prompted her to leave a comment underneath the post.
"My Baby is A Straight Killa," Govan commented.
More than that, her father, Gilbert Arenas, took to Instagram to post Hamiley's highlights.
"@hamileyarenas0 With her 27 points and 13 rebounds high-school debut. #nortedameGirl," he captioned the post.
Hamiley Arenas turned 16 on Dec. 9 she found a terrific way to celebrate her special day: recording a double-double with 40 points and 16 rebounds in the win over Santa Monica.
The expectations are high for this player, a member of the Class of 2028. If she keeps playing at this level, the Arenas family will add another member to their impressive dynasty.
