The Laura Harrier-Shameik Moore controversy started after the "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse" voice actor posted a video of him with Harrier. The internet started speculating about a possible relationship between the two, but the actress stepped forward to turn them down.
In her video, Harrier stated that she wasn't sure why Moore would post the video she was about to get engaged. The actress revealed that she asked Moore to delete the post but he didn't. So, she had to go against her publicist and make the video to address the situation and shut down the rumors.
Klay Thompson and Laura Harrier met in 2018 and started dating soon after. They were involved in each other's lives but split in 2020 after a video of the Mavericks star partying with other girls without Harrier went viral.
Klay Thompson is redeeming himself with the Dallas Mavericks
Klay Thompson's NBA story met a brutal twist last off-season when the Golden State Warriors let him go and he signed with the Dallas Mavericks. It was the end of an era for the Dubnation and a significant chapter in the four-time NBA champion's life.
Thompson was facing a downward spiral in his last season at the Warriors, where he had become a shadow of his future self after returning from an Achilles injury. He shot 38.7 percent from downtown in his last season at the Warriors compared to his 41.2 percent in the 2022-23 season.
Since joining the Mavericks, the former Warriors star has proven invaluable, averaging 14.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He shoots 41.5 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Thompson's arrival on the squad has given Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving a dependable shooter with valuable experience. In return, the move has lifted Thompson's big responsibility as one-half of the Splash brothers.
Thompson redeemed himself in Sunday's game against the Dubs by delivering an excellent performance. He scored 29 points, collected five rebounds and dished out four assists to help his team secure a 143-133 victory over his former team.
