Caitlin Clark comes up big against Angel Reese, LSU
On Monday night, Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes took the court with a chance to punch their ticket to the Final Four. In their way was a big-time rematch with Angel Reese and LSU.
Clark and Reese were once again two of the top stars in Women's college basketball this season, and both had big outings. However, it was Clark who'd end up getting revenge.
Iowa took down LSU 94-87 in the Elite Eight matchup. They were led by Caitlin Clark, who erupted for 41 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists in the win. Reese did what she could to lead the charge for LSU, finishing with 17 points, 20 rebounds and four assists.
When the two teams faced off last year in the Women's NCAA Tournament, it made big headlines.
When it was clear that LSU was going to beat Iowa for the national championship, Reese was seen taunting Clark in the final minutes. She pulled out the "you can't see me" gesture that Clark had been doing to opponents all year long.
After taking down Reese and LSU, Clark now has a chance to end her college career with a championship of her own. Iowa take on UConn on Friday, with the winner moving on to the title game. The winner of the matchup will face the winner of South Carolina vs NC State.
